Brief Story About Christianity

A brief story about Christianity.
It goes without saying that it’s not easy to answer the question concerning the origin of Christianity. It’s one of the greatest puzzles of the world. Of course there are several hypotheses regarding this developed for the last time. I hope you might have heard about the first and the most widely spread one. So according to this theory the first church was organized in Jerusalem. To be precise the first church appeared in Jerusalem much earlier then 70 AD. But by 70 AD arrived this first tiny church was crushed by Romans. Many people think that this event accelerated the growth of Christianity, because it’s known that forbidden things are more attractive. After Jerusalem, another place came to become the native nest for Christianity. Of course I mean Palestine in this case.

It goes without saying that Christianity started to spread all over the world exactly through trade and traveling. As follows from this Christianity managed to cross many borders and spread itself around the globe. This spread was so rapid that it’s possible to compare it with a real wildfire chasing everything on its way. That was the epoch closely connected with the imperial conquest. So there’s no wonder that imperial rulers realized that one powerful religion could be effectively used to colonize the world. In this case I mean numerous countries of the Far East. As for the West I hope you understand that I don’t mean America but I mean Europe. At that time Europe was associated with France and Germany and so on.

I think that Christianity was accepted by humans almost from the moment of its formation. Certainly this new belief had to undergo times of rejections and sometimes this religion was exposed to persecution. About 600 AD, Christianity spread its ideas to almost all neighboring areas, except Eastern countries first of all.

The Black Sea became also that place where Christianity found a perfect place to settle. I’m talking about Constantinople and Damascus as well as other prominent countries. The area of the Mediterranean basin also underwent Christianization. Other areas were also successfully Christianized.

From my point of view those times were extremely romantic because that epoch was closely connected with ascetic attitude to life. Many monks were busy with spreading and maintaining this attitude to life. So this was the time when a new hope of the entire humanity appeared. At that time new Christian leaders appeared. Summarizing the value of all mentioned above I can say that Christianity managed to unite the biggest part of the world by providing it with one solid belief. Many people in the world share Christian beliefs. I can’t mention the exact number, but it’s really enormous. I think that we’ll also enter the 22nd century with Christianity.
