- What are online Bible colleges?
Online colleges and universities offer you the chance to take classes or even finish an entire degree through distance-learning study on the internet. As online colleges have gotten more popular, there have been more choices for students in terms of what type of online college they’d like to enroll at. One of these choices, of course, is for students who wish to study in an environment that’s supportive of their Christian faith–and that’s where Bible colleges online come in.
- What can I study at online Bible colleges?
Depending on the college, you can study just about anything you can study at a traditional, campus based college. Some Bible colleges online are strictly oriented to Biblical or Ministry related majors, while others also include a variety of general majors. While you may not want to pursue a career or vocation within the Church in a professional sense, you can still study in a school that is based on a Christian tradition.
- How do I know which online Bible colleges are reputable?
It depends on what you mean by reputable in some cases; some colleges are accredited by the denomination with which they’re affiliated (usually for the purpose of preparing ministers in their Church), but aren’t accredited by an association recognized by the Department of Education. There are schools, however, which are fully accredited, if you’re following a career path which requires an accredited degree. Check the school’s accreditation and be sure it will fit your goals.
- What kind of degrees are available at online Bible colleges?
Whether you’re looking to start off with your associate’s degree, or pondering getting your Ph D, you can find all levels of degrees at Bible colleges online. You can study for your bachelor’s or your master’s, or you can take a few courses here and there just to keep yourself up to date.
